Does Echo post for me?
Never. Echo finds the thread and drafts a reply; you read it, change what you like and post it from your own account. Echo only records that you did.
Where do the mentions come from?
From public sources that allow it: the pages your AI answers cite, Google's results for a weekly search per site, your own Google Alerts feeds, Hacker News' search and Stack Overflow's API. Echo doesn't scrape Reddit or review sites and doesn't use Reddit's API; for your own reviews, switch on the review sites' emails and paste the link.
What does Echo keep about the people who post?
Only what the post shows publicly: the link, the title, a snippet and the author's public name where the site gives one. No profiles and nothing that follows a person from site to site.
Which sites does it watch?
Reddit, G2, Capterra and Trustpilot by default, and up to six sites per brand you choose, such as Clutch or an industry forum. Hacker News and Stack Overflow are on for every brand.
