Account executive
- Mid level
- €40,000 base
- Remote
- Full time
Run the whole sale, from the first call to a signed customer, with a demo you've made your own.

About the role.
Echo is a marketing OS for small marketing teams at tech companies. The teams we sell to are small, busy and tired of tools that show numbers and leave the rest to them. Echo turns what it sees into a short list of what to do, and that's an easy thing to show in a demo.
As an account executive you run the sale end to end: discovery, demo, proposal, close. Leads come in from the website, the free AI score and partners, and you build your own pipeline on top. You decide how to spend your month; the customers you sign are what counts.
What you'll do.
- Run discovery calls and demos end to end, and make each one about the customer's situation
- Build your own pipeline next to the leads that come in from the website, the free AI score and partners
- Write proposals, agree the plan and the start date, and close
- Hand new customers over well, so they stay and grow
- Tell the founder what wins deals and what loses them, every month, in plain words
What we look for.
- Two to four years closing business software, ideally to marketing or growth teams
- You can demo a product and make it about the person in front of you, not the features
- You're comfortable with a month that's yours to plan, and a number that's yours to hit
- Your pipeline is honest: a deal is where it is, not where you'd like it to be
- You've sold somewhere without a playbook yet, and you liked writing the first version
Mid level: you've closed deals on your own for a couple of years and know your own numbers. Tell us about them.
What you get. The same rule as everyone in sales, with this role's numbers.
€40,000 a year
The base salary, paid monthly.
30% of recurring revenue
Of every deal you close, every month, for as long as the customer stays. No cap.
Two to three times the base
What the total typically comes to. Some make more.
Fully remote
Remote, within about three hours of Central European Time. No office, no offsites, no mandatory anything.
How the pay works in full, and the questions people ask about it: the careers page.
The first months. How it tends to go.
- 01Weeks 1 and 2: learn the product and the market, run demos to the team until they're yours
- 02Month 1: your first demos with real prospects, your first proposal out
- 03Month 3: a pipeline you built yourself, and your first customers paying every month
How we work here. In short.
Remote by design
There's no office to come to, and there won't be one. You work from wherever you do your best work, in the hours that suit the customers you're talking to. We hire people who like it that way.
You run your own show
Nobody hands you a calendar. You decide how to find customers, how to run your week and which tools to use, as long as it adds up to new customers. Think of it as running your own business inside ours, with the product, the brand and the leads already there.
Paid for outcomes
We'd rather pay you a lot for results than a little for attendance. The base salary is deliberately modest; the share of revenue isn't, and it has no cap. Someone who does well here earns two to three times their base.
Light on rituals
No offsites, no mandatory socials, no all-hands for the sake of it. A short written update, a call when a call helps, and colleagues who respect your work. If you make friends here, great; it's just not part of the job.
The interview is a real sales call.
We don't do rounds of interviews for sales roles. We'd rather hear you sell. So the process is short, and it's the job itself:
- 01Apply below. A person reads it and gets back to you within a week.
- 02Learn Echo. The interactive demo on our home page runs on made-up data and needs no account; the free AI score shows what we do in a minute.
- 03Find a company that fits and book a demo call with them. How you find them and what you say is up to you.
- 04Once it's scheduled, write to hello@echo-aeo.com with the date and time and invite us to the call. One of us joins and only listens.
- 05After the call, we give you honest feedback and a decision, usually the same day.
If that sounds like a day you'd enjoy, apply. If it sounds like too much to ask before an offer, that's a fair answer too, and better found out now.
Apply. A few lines are enough. Honest ones are better.
No CV upload, no cover letter. Your LinkedIn profile tells us where you've been; the box below tells us whether this is the right place for you.
What we'd like to read
- How you match this level. Mid level: you've closed deals on your own for a couple of years and know your own numbers. Tell us about them.
- How you'd work when nobody sets your week: how you'd find customers, organise yourself and decide what to do next, with new customers as the outcome.
- Anything you'd want to know from us.
