Senior account executive

  • Senior
  • €50,000 base
  • Remote
  • Full time

Close larger teams and agencies, shape how we sell, and keep a bigger share of a bigger book.

About the role.

Echo is a marketing OS for small marketing teams at tech companies, and the larger deals are the teams that run several brands or several markets, and the agencies that run marketing for many clients. Those sales take longer and need someone who has done this before.

As a senior account executive you own those deals, from the first conversation to the signature, and you write down what works so the people who join after you start further ahead. You bring some deals from your own network, and you set the standard by example rather than by title.

What you'll do.

  • Own the larger deals: teams with several brands or markets, and agencies with many clients
  • Build relationships over months where it takes months, and move fast where it doesn't
  • Bring in deals from your own network and the events you already go to
  • Write down the plays that work and share them, so the next seller starts further ahead
  • Handle procurement, security questions and the finance side without drama

What we look for.

  • Five or more years selling business software, with a record you can show and talk through
  • You've carried a quota through good quarters and bad ones, and you know the difference
  • You're used to a buying group: a marketer, a founder, a finance lead, each with their own question
  • You don't need a manager to tell you what Monday looks like, and you don't need an office to get going
  • You coach by example, and you like a founder who's direct

Senior: you've done this for five years or more and have numbers to back it. Tell us the deals you're proud of, and the one you lost and learned from.

What you get. The same rule as everyone in sales, with this role's numbers.

€50,000 a year

The base salary, paid monthly.

30% of recurring revenue

Of every deal you close, every month, for as long as the customer stays. No cap.

Two to three times the base

What the total typically comes to. Some make more.

Fully remote

Remote, within about three hours of Central European Time. No office, no offsites, no mandatory anything.

How the pay works in full, and the questions people ask about it: the careers page.

The first months. How it tends to go.

  1. 01Weeks 1 and 2: learn the product and the market, meet the customers we have, pick your first targets
  2. 02Month 1: first conversations with the larger teams and agencies on your list
  3. 03Month 3: a pipeline of larger deals you own, and the first of them signed

How we work here. In short.

Remote by design

There's no office to come to, and there won't be one. You work from wherever you do your best work, in the hours that suit the customers you're talking to. We hire people who like it that way.

You run your own show

Nobody hands you a calendar. You decide how to find customers, how to run your week and which tools to use, as long as it adds up to new customers. Think of it as running your own business inside ours, with the product, the brand and the leads already there.

Paid for outcomes

We'd rather pay you a lot for results than a little for attendance. The base salary is deliberately modest; the share of revenue isn't, and it has no cap. Someone who does well here earns two to three times their base.

Light on rituals

No offsites, no mandatory socials, no all-hands for the sake of it. A short written update, a call when a call helps, and colleagues who respect your work. If you make friends here, great; it's just not part of the job.

Read this before you apply

The interview is a real sales call.

We don't do rounds of interviews for sales roles. We'd rather hear you sell. So the process is short, and it's the job itself:

  1. 01Apply below. A person reads it and gets back to you within a week.
  2. 02Learn Echo. The interactive demo on our home page runs on made-up data and needs no account; the free AI score shows what we do in a minute.
  3. 03Find a company that fits and book a demo call with them. How you find them and what you say is up to you.
  4. 04Once it's scheduled, write to hello@echo-aeo.com with the date and time and invite us to the call. One of us joins and only listens.
  5. 05After the call, we give you honest feedback and a decision, usually the same day.

If that sounds like a day you'd enjoy, apply. If it sounds like too much to ask before an offer, that's a fair answer too, and better found out now.

Apply. A few lines are enough. Honest ones are better.

No CV upload, no cover letter. Your LinkedIn profile tells us where you've been; the box below tells us whether this is the right place for you.

What we'd like to read

  • How you match this level. Senior: you've done this for five years or more and have numbers to back it. Tell us the deals you're proud of, and the one you lost and learned from.
  • How you'd work when nobody sets your week: how you'd find customers, organise yourself and decide what to do next, with new customers as the outcome.
  • Anything you'd want to know from us.

At least a few paragraphs, please.

We use what you send only to consider your application and to reply to you. See the privacy policy.
