Sales development representative
- Entry level
- €30,000 base
- Remote
- Full time
Open the door: find the marketing teams Echo is right for, start the conversation and book the first call.

About the role.
Echo is a marketing OS for small marketing teams at tech companies: one place to see what's happening, decide what to do, build it, get it out and prove it worked. It starts with something every marketer wants to know right now: what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude say about their brand, and what to do about it.
As our sales development representative you start the conversations. You find the companies that fit, work out who to talk to, write to them in your own words and run the first call. When it's a fit, you book the demo and hand over with everything the next person needs.
It's a first or second job in sales for someone who wants to learn by doing, with a real share of what they help close.
What you'll do.
- Find marketing teams at tech companies that fit Echo, and work out who to talk to there
- Write your own outreach by email and on LinkedIn, in your own words, and keep improving it
- Run the first call: understand what they're trying to fix, and book the demo when it fits
- Keep your pipeline honest in the CRM: what's live, what's stalled, what's next
- Pass on what you hear: objections, the words customers use, what they wish Echo did
What we look for.
- Your first or second job in sales, or a change of career with a clear reason behind it
- You write clearly and quickly, and you'd rather send twenty good emails than two hundred templated ones
- You can take a no, learn from it and send the next one the same day
- You plan your own week without being asked to, and you say when something isn't working
- You're curious about marketing and AI, and happy to learn the product in depth
Entry level: you may have done this for a year or two, or not at all yet. Tell us why you'll be good at it anyway.
What you get. The same rule as everyone in sales, with this role's numbers.
€30,000 a year
The base salary, paid monthly.
30% of recurring revenue
Deals you open count as yours when they close, whoever runs the demo.
Two to three times the base
What the total typically comes to. Some make more.
Fully remote
Remote, within about three hours of Central European Time. No office, no offsites, no mandatory anything.
How the pay works in full, and the questions people ask about it: the careers page.
The first months. How it tends to go.
- 01Weeks 1 and 2: learn Echo inside out, run the demo on a brand you pick, sit in on live calls
- 02Month 1: your first hundred conversations started, your first meetings booked
- 03Month 3: a steady flow of first calls every week, and your first customers closed from them
How we work here. In short.
Remote by design
There's no office to come to, and there won't be one. You work from wherever you do your best work, in the hours that suit the customers you're talking to. We hire people who like it that way.
You run your own show
Nobody hands you a calendar. You decide how to find customers, how to run your week and which tools to use, as long as it adds up to new customers. Think of it as running your own business inside ours, with the product, the brand and the leads already there.
Paid for outcomes
We'd rather pay you a lot for results than a little for attendance. The base salary is deliberately modest; the share of revenue isn't, and it has no cap. Someone who does well here earns two to three times their base.
Light on rituals
No offsites, no mandatory socials, no all-hands for the sake of it. A short written update, a call when a call helps, and colleagues who respect your work. If you make friends here, great; it's just not part of the job.
The interview is a real sales call.
We don't do rounds of interviews for sales roles. We'd rather hear you sell. So the process is short, and it's the job itself:
- 01Apply below. A person reads it and gets back to you within a week.
- 02Learn Echo. The interactive demo on our home page runs on made-up data and needs no account; the free AI score shows what we do in a minute.
- 03Find a company that fits and book a demo call with them. How you find them and what you say is up to you.
- 04Once it's scheduled, write to hello@echo-aeo.com with the date and time and invite us to the call. One of us joins and only listens.
- 05After the call, we give you honest feedback and a decision, usually the same day.
If that sounds like a day you'd enjoy, apply. If it sounds like too much to ask before an offer, that's a fair answer too, and better found out now.
Apply. A few lines are enough. Honest ones are better.
No CV upload, no cover letter. Your LinkedIn profile tells us where you've been; the box below tells us whether this is the right place for you.
What we'd like to read
- How you match this level. Entry level: you may have done this for a year or two, or not at all yet. Tell us why you'll be good at it anyway.
- How you'd work when nobody sets your week: how you'd find customers, organise yourself and decide what to do next, with new customers as the outcome.
- Anything you'd want to know from us.
