Compare/Scrunch AI

Echo vs Scrunch AI. Monitor and optimise for AI agents, or run the marketing around it.

Scrunch AI tracks how seven AI platforms see your brand, audits your pages for them and, on its bigger plans, serves AI crawlers a cleaner version of your site through its Agent Experience Platform. Echo tracks five assistants and spends the rest of its effort on the human side of the loop: deciding, building, reaching and proving. Here's how they compare.

In short.

Scrunch covers seven platforms including Claude, Meta and Google AI Mode, offers hundreds of prompts even on its Starter plan, audits pages for AI readability, and its Agent Experience Platform is a genuinely different idea: a version of your site tuned for AI crawlers. Mid-size and enterprise teams get a serious platform with people behind it.

Pick Scrunch AI if

  • You want to serve AI crawlers an optimised version of your site, not just measure them
  • A mid-size or enterprise team with hundreds of prompts and a sales-led buying process
  • Meta AI or Google AI Mode matter for your market

Pick Echo if

  • You want the measurements to become a weekly to-do list with owners and proof
  • A team of one to ten that also needs the content, the landing pages, the competitors and the reporting
  • You want to start today from the pricing page

Where Echo goes further

Scrunch optimises for the agents. Echo organises the people.

Scrunch's biggest idea is technical: show AI crawlers a page they read well. Echo's is organisational: every Monday, a short list of what the team should change, build or get mentioned on, with proof, an owner and a due date, and two weeks later, whether it worked.

  • Ranked actions, at most fifteen per market a week
  • Slack, Teams, Linear and Jira so the work lands where the team is
  • Before and since on every done action

Your own site, read the way AI reads it

Echo doesn't rewrite your site for crawlers, and says so. It shows what they do: which bots visit which pages, how your homepage scores for AI readability, which pages are broken or thin, which facts assistants get wrong, and which of your pages the answers already cite.

  • AI crawlers from a snippet, a log file or Cloudflare
  • The AI score and the weekly website check
  • The sitemap tree with AI citations, visits and issues per page

And the rest of the marketing

Once the actions exist, Echo does the work around them: briefs and drafts in your voice, landing pages and ad visuals in your brand's look, customer stories, LinkedIn posts, lead forms, email campaigns, playbooks, and a monthly report that puts Google, HubSpot and ad spend next to the AI numbers.

  • Campaigns with goals, budgets and a calendar
  • Landing pages hosted by Echo on your subdomain
  • One monthly report across AI, search, pipeline and spend

Questions, answered.

Does Echo have anything like the Agent Experience Platform?

No. Echo measures and advises; it doesn't serve a separate version of your site to AI crawlers. If that's the lever you want to pull, Scrunch is the tool. Echo's view is that most small teams get further by fixing the pages people see too.

Scrunch tracks 350 prompts on Starter and Echo 50 per market. Isn't that a big gap?

It is, by count. Echo keeps 50 prompts per market and asks 25 to 80 of them every day on five assistants with several samples each, so the daily picture is steady rather than wide. Teams that need hundreds of prompts a day are better served by Scrunch or Profound.

Which engines does each cover?

Scrunch: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Meta. Echo: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. Scrunch adds Meta and Google AI Mode.

How do the prices compare?

Scrunch Starter is $300 a month for 3 users. Echo Starter is $799 for 2 members and one brand, and includes the actions, competitor watch, mentions, SEO, drafts, landing pages, creative, brand assets, lead forms, email campaigns and the report. The tracking alone is cheaper at Scrunch.

Can I buy Echo without a demo?

Yes. Pick a plan on the pricing page, add a card, and the first 14 days are free. Scrunch's Starter is self-serve too; its Growth and Enterprise plans go through a demo.
