AI score and website benchmark

The AI score tells you how ready your website is for AI assistants, as one number out of 100. The website benchmark puts your site next to your competitors'. Both are under Website.

The AI score

Website → Health → AI score. Echo reads your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, plus up to four key pages (pricing, about, your main product or service page and your FAQ). The score has four categories of 25 points each:

CategoryWhat it checks
FindableHTTPS, the site loads, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical links, AI crawlers allowed
QuotableMeta description, amount of text, dates, FAQ, how easy the page is to quote
UnderstandableOne H1, heading order, structured data, Open Graph, alt text, how clearly the page says what you do
TrustworthyLinks, About and Contact pages, Organization data, privacy, trust signals, llms.txt as a bonus

Echo scans every week, or when you click Scan now. A chart shows your score and its categories over time; click a scan to see every check, what works and what to fix first.

Each check that loses 2 points or more becomes an action. When a later scan passes, Echo marks it done.

Free AI score

Anyone can scan a website for free at echo-aeo.com/score with a work email. The result is a link you can share.

Website benchmark

Website → Health → Benchmark gives your site and each competitor a Website health score out of 100 from public sources:

  • Speed: Google's PageSpeed on phones and Chrome's real-visitor data
  • Quality: accessibility, best practices and SEO
  • Authority: domain rank and sites linking in
  • Presence: Wikidata, Wikipedia, Google's Knowledge Graph and Common Crawl, where AI models learn what a brand is
  • Reach: popularity rank and estimated Google visits
  • Trust: security grade and domain age

What to fix lists the issues with steps, and Copy fix prompt copies them as one prompt for your site builder's AI. It runs every Sunday or on Check now. Website health is separate from the AI score.
