API and webhooks

Echo's public API and webhooks connect it to your own tools. The full reference, with every route, field and event, is on the developers page.

Make a key

  1. The workspace owner goes to Settings → API and webhooks and creates a key with the scopes it needs.
  2. Copy it: it's shown once.
  3. Send it with every request as Authorization: Bearer echo_….

The base address is https://echo-aeo.com/api/v1. A key belongs to one workspace. Revoking it stops it at once.

What you can do

  • read and update actions, and add new ones
  • read prompts, competitors and AI visibility numbers for any period
  • read your website's pages
  • get webhooks when things happen, such as an action created or done, a project done, a new mention or a wrong figure found on your website

Zapier and n8n

Echo has a Zapier app and an n8n node built on the same API. Use your key to connect them.

Automations

Settings → Automations runs playbooks inside Echo on the same events, without code: for example, email the team when visibility drops.
