Google reviews
AI assistants and Google's AI read Google reviews when they describe a company. Echo follows your Google rating and reviews next to your competitors'.
How Echo finds your listing
Echo searches Google Maps once for you and each competitor. A listing whose website is the company's own is kept. When only the name matches, Echo asks Is this theirs? under Competition → Competitors; confirm or skip it. Without a listing, Echo looks again after 30 days.
What you see
- Competition → Competitors → Google reviews: each company's rating and number of reviews, week by week.
- Visibility → Perception → What Google reviewers say: the themes in your newest reviews.
Echo reads the rating, the count and the newest reviews every Sunday. It never stores reviewers' names, and keeps reviews for 12 months.
Actions
- Answer new low-rated Google reviews: reviews of 3 stars or less from the last 30 days without an answer.
- Get more Google reviews: when you have less than half the reviews of your typical competitor.
Echo never replies to reviews for you. You answer them in your Google Business Profile.
