Framer

With Framer connected, Echo puts its work straight into your site as drafts: new pages, corrected sentences, redirects and the Echo tag. Publishing is always your click.

Connect Framer

  1. Open your project in Framer and copy its address from the browser.
  2. In Framer, go to Site settings → General → API keys and create a key. Copy it.
  3. In Echo, go to Settings → Connections → Framer and click Connect Framer.
  4. Paste the project address and the key, then save.

Echo reads the site once to check the key, stores the key encrypted and never shows it again. You can connect up to 5 sites per brand.

Send drafts to Framer

On a draft or a "Create page" action, click Send to Framer. Pick the CMS collection, check the title, slug, SEO title and description, and which field gets what. Echo adds it as a draft item.

Fix figures on your pages

When the content check finds a wrong figure, Fix this (or Fix all on this page) puts the corrected sentence into the page's text in Framer, unpublished. Undo puts back what was there, unless someone changed it in Framer since.

Redirects and the Echo tag

  • Sitemap → Add redirects to Framer sends your planned 301 redirects.
  • Website → Health → Tracking → Install on Framer puts the Echo tag into your site's head.

Publish

The publish panel shows what's waiting, including your team's own changes in Framer. Publish to staging, then Deploy to production; or one Publish on a site without its own domain. Each asks you to confirm first.

Disconnect

Remove the site under Settings → Connections → Framer. To stop the key working, delete it in Framer too.
