Brand context, facts and voice
Everything Echo writes (drafts, briefs, replies, pitches, agent results) reads the same brand context. The better it is, the less you edit. Most of it lives under Brand.
Where each part lives
| Part | Where | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Profile | Brand → Profile | Name, website, description, other names |
| Facts | Brand → Facts | Prices, plans, features, numbers; only these figures are used in drafts |
| Guidelines and voice | Brand → Guidelines | Tone, words to use and avoid, logo and colours |
| Audience | Brand → Audience | Segments, pains and quotes, each with its source |
| Brand context | Brand → Brand context | Documents, house rules, and checks for gaps |
| Markets | Brand → Markets | Where you sell and what you sell |
Documents
Add PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files, text, Markdown, CSV or a link to a page. Echo writes short notes from each, with the quote they come from, and proposes facts. Proposed facts count only once someone clicks Keep.
House rules
Short rules every writer follows, for example "only numbers from the fact sheet" or "no competitor names in published copy". Six ready-made rules can be switched on. House rules come last in every writer's instructions, so they win.
Gaps and contradictions
Every Sunday (or Check now) Echo checks what's missing (no pricing fact, no positioning, a competitor without positioning) and looks for contradictions between your facts, documents, voice and website. Each one links to where to fix it.
